Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 17 January 2026 Last Updated: 17 January 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Leapseed ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use Amplifing (the "Service"), available at https://amplif.ing.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Amplifing is operated by Leapseed, the legal entity that owns and operates the Service.

  • Registered address: in5 Tech, Dubai Internet City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Jurisdiction of incorporation: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Contact for privacy matters: hello@amplif.ing

Where required by law (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR), Leapseed is the data controller for personal information collected through the Service. For personal information that our users (for example, marketing agencies) upload about their own end-clients or audiences, we generally act as a data processor on their behalf.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information.

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), profile picture, company name, billing address, phone number where supplied.
  • Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Content you upload: posts, captions, images, videos, comments, drafts, scheduled content, hashtags, templates, RSS feeds, and any other content you create or import into the Service.
  • Communications: support tickets, emails, feedback, and survey responses.

2.2 Information from connected social media accounts

When you connect a social media account to Amplifing, you authorize us, through that platform's official OAuth flow, to access certain information on your behalf. Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this may include:

  • Profile information (name, username, profile photo, account type, public bio).
  • Pages, channels, or business accounts associated with your login.
  • Access tokens and refresh tokens issued by the platform.
  • Posts, media, and engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, views, follower counts) used to display analytics inside the Service.
  • The ability to publish content, schedule posts, and read engagement data on accounts you authorize.

We only request the minimum permissions needed for the features you use. You can revoke our access at any time from the connected platform's app settings, or by disconnecting the account in Amplifing.

2.3 Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, time zone.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, posts scheduled or published, errors encountered, timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 9.

2.4 Information processed by AI features

If you use our AI-powered features (captions, hashtags, content ideas, tone adjustment), the prompts you submit and the content used to generate outputs are sent to the AI provider you have selected or that we have configured (which may include OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, or others). See Section 4.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including publishing your scheduled content to connected platforms.
  • Authenticate you and protect the security of your account.
  • Display analytics, reports, and dashboards inside the Service.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, generate invoices, and run our affiliate program.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Send service-related communications (transactional emails, billing notices, security alerts).
  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time).
  • Improve the Service, develop new features, monitor performance, and debug issues.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Our legal bases for processing (where the GDPR applies) include performance of a contract (operating the Service for you), legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service, marketing our own products to existing customers), consent (where required, such as for non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We share information with the following categories of recipients, only as necessary to operate the Service.

4.1 Connected social media platforms

When you instruct us to publish or read content, we send the relevant information to the corresponding platform under your authorization. These platforms include:

Our use and transfer of information received from these platforms adhere to their respective Developer Policies and Platform Terms, including, where applicable, limited-use requirements.

4.2 AI service providers

When you use AI features, the prompts and content you submit are processed by the AI provider configured for that feature (for example, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or DeepSeek). These providers process the data under their own privacy policies and data-handling commitments. We do not use your AI prompts or outputs to train our own models, and we configure these providers, where possible, in a mode that does not use your content to train theirs.

4.3 Payment processors

We use third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, and other gateways enabled on the Service) to process payments. They receive payment-card data directly, not through our servers, and process it under their own privacy policies.

4.4 Infrastructure and operational service providers

We use trusted vendors for hosting, cloud storage (including Amazon S3 and S3-compatible providers), email delivery, error monitoring, analytics, and customer support. These vendors process information on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we instruct.

4.5 Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Leapseed, our users, or others; or to investigate, prevent, or respond to fraud or security incidents.

4.6 Business transfers

If Leapseed is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such transfer that materially affects how their information is handled.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

  • Account and profile data: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 90 days of account closure unless retention is required by law.
  • Social media access tokens: retained while the connection is active; revoked and deleted when you disconnect the account or close your account.
  • Published content metadata and analytics: retained for as long as needed to provide historical reporting, typically up to 24 months, unless you delete it sooner.
  • Billing records and invoices: retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 5–10 years).
  • Backup copies: may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion before being overwritten.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@amplif.ing. On deletion we remove your personal information, content, and connected-account tokens within the retention windows described above.

If you have connected a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) account and wish to request deletion of data associated with that connection specifically, follow the instructions at https://amplif.ing/data-deletion or email hello@amplif.ing with the subject "Meta Data Deletion Request" and the platform user ID. We will process the request and confirm completion.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Hashed password storage.
  • Encryption of social media access tokens at rest.
  • Role-based access control for our staff.
  • Regular security reviews and dependency updates.
  • Logging and monitoring of access to sensitive data.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

8. International Data Transfers

Leapseed is established in the United Arab Emirates, and we and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you reside, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data-transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or recognized adequacy decisions.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and measure usage. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (required for the Service to function).
  • Functional cookies (preferences such as language, theme).
  • Analytics cookies (aggregated usage metrics).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair functionality. Where required, we present a cookie banner where you can manage non-essential cookies.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your information.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit certain processing.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Residents of California have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of "sharing" or sale (we do neither), and not face discrimination for exercising these rights.

Residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland have rights under the GDPR and equivalent UK and Swiss laws as listed above.

Residents of the UAE have rights under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 regarding the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection, as well as the right to file a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

To exercise any right, email hello@amplif.ing. We respond within the period required by applicable law (typically within 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact hello@amplif.ing and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for those websites or their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing them with information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the Service before the change takes effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when this policy was most recently revised.
